CNA ExamEvery state has different provisions for the CNA training and CNA programs so you just have to attend the training and then you are eligible for the CNA certification examination. In order to have the CNA job you have to clear the Nursing Assistant Examination which is also known as National Nursing Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) or Certified Nursing Assistant Examination (CNA Exam). After completing CNA exam successfully, you will receive CNA certification and you will be registered as a nursing assistant in your state. Usually, CNA exam have two types of examination, which have totally different objective and pattern:
Written test have a basic purpose to know how much basic knowledge you have and remember. It covers the CNA training course which was taught in the class room sessions of your CNA training program. It includes:
Skills Test: Skills test which is also known as Clinical or Practical test is designed to know that you have the perfect knowledge of practical scenario. It demonstrate your examiner that you have the ability to handle the real life scenarios and capable of becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. Your examiner will ask you to perform around 5 nursing assistant’s tasks out of 25 which are taught to you in the on-job or clinical CNA training program.
